Meet the Team

Tony von Pieschel, Founder

After traveling and seeing the living conditions of Guatemala,  Arthur von Pieschel was inspired to revise the idea of a minimum cost house, on a legacy from his grandfather, renown architect Antonio U. Vilar. His recreated designs would offer a new  initiative for affordable housing across the globe. His work can be seen in Central America and the United States.

Richard Peloquin, Legal Advisor

Retired after 27 years with EG&G, an international technology company. His extensive background is in administration, management and legal matters. Richard has done mission work in various countries in Africa and the Middle East: Ethiopia, Bangladesh, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and Guatemala. He also administered a project in Argentina in support of a research vessel in Antarctica.

Gary Cummings, Project Manager

Gary’s experience as a Captain in a large metropolitan fire and rescue department has given him invaluable experience in managing and executing projects in an efficient and timely manner. Prior to SJHI, his philanthropic activities have included managing the building of the Guardian Angel playground at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, the St. Philomena Medical Benefit Concert, teaching Financial Peace University at St. James and teaching Financial Peace Government at his Fire Department job as well as providing financial counseling to his co-workers.

Santiago von Pieschel, Import/Export

Currently a manager with Amazon, Santiago’s import/export expertise has been instrumental in helping SJHI with importing the Fiber Cement Boards into the US for building the prototype. His vast import/export experience includes importing the McDonald’s Happy Meal toys and The Bradford Group collectibles.

Angelique Cummings, Promotions

Paul English, Bookkeeper

Paul is from a big Catholic family he's very proud of, is glad to be a part of this project, and works for some Trappist  Monks as a staff accountant, monastic IT guy, and odd-job administrator during the day.
